BRIEF CHESS PROFILE

Chess has been a cornerstone of Praveen's endeavors. He founded Checkmate in 2013 and later established Go Checkmate Pte Ltd in 2018, both in Singapore. In Vellore, India, he founded and serves as Secretary of the Fishers Chess Academy. Additionally, he has served as an arbiter in prestigious chess championships, including the World Chess U-16 Olympiad and the World Chess Junior Boys and Girls Championships, through the AICF.

Praveen's contributions to chess education are notable. He has conducted numerous awareness programs and summer camps in schools, including a summer coaching camp at Vellore Institute of Technology. His international engagement includes participation in the Indo-Sweden Youth Exchange Program in 2006.

Throughout his career, Praveen has been recognized with various accolades, starting from being the first International Rated Player in Vellore District in 2001. His achievements include awards from district collectors, sports organizations, universities, and chess academies. Notably, in 2010, he was honored with the "Best Entrepreneurship" Distinguished Alumni Award from VIT University, and in 2012, he received the FIDE Instructor Award from the World Chess Federation.
